First concert was POD (2005ish?). Best would probably a tossup between Underoath 2011 sunshine theater or Kid Cudi 2011 Iselta Ampatheater - Immaculate crowd involvement at both.
1st: Senses Fail at Sunshine Theater. Got kicked in the back of the head and dropped to the ground, made it to the back of the crowd only to see two different guys walking the back bleeding from the mosh pit. Best: Mac Miller at Celebrity Theater in Chandler, AZ. Blue Slide Park with the rotating stage and he played the guitar behind his back. It was so much fun, I found a $100 bill on the ground at the club we went to after trying to meet him in person. Great read Josh, Thank you.
1st concert was Tower of Power (early 80’s); best concert at BioPark Zoo Music in Albuquerque included Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray, and Gin Blossoms (2013)
